This set includes one full shelf, measuring 16 inches by 16 inches and four 1/2" posts.

In general you will always want to post up your firing shelf. We recommend using at least a 1/2" post, as included in this kit.

This promotes better heat distribution and is a recommended practice. Posting up allows heat to get to the underside of the shelf which helps to eliminate and minimizes bubbles. It also helps to minimize differences in shelf temperature to avoid breaking.

Additional items in this kit includes one 6 Reed Haik Brush and one 24-ounce container of Shelf Primer from Hotline Hi-Fire Brand.
