The GTS 2541 features a design that loads from the top, with a chamber measuring 41 inches in width, 25.25 inches in length, and 13.5 inches in depth.

Full Firebrick Design

The GTS 2541 is entirely made of firebrick.

Firebrick is particularly beneficial in a glass kiln because it initially stores heat during the firing process, helping to even out temperature fluctuations. Towards the end of the firing, it gradually releases heat, contributing to a very stable and gentle annealing process, especially over the annealing range. This quality is simply remarkable.

In any glass kiln, incorporating some amount of firebrick is advisable.

Lid Lift Assist

The substantial firebrick lid of the GTS 2541 can become quite heavy. To make opening and closing easier, the GTS 2541 is equipped with Evenheat's unique Dyna-Lift lid lift assist system.

The Dyna-Lift reduces the effort required to operate the kiln lid by attaching to and lifting from a single point – the lid handle. Importantly, the lift assist is not connected to the kiln chamber in any way. All the significant lifting forces are transferred directly to the kiln stand, not the kiln itself. This ingenious design ensures that no lifting forces are exerted on the chamber, preventing any potential weakening.

Swing View Equipped

The temperature controls of the GTS 2541 are integrated into Evenheat's Swing View Adjustable Enclosure.

This feature comprises a rotating, swing-up enclosure, enabling you to pivot the control panel to an angle that's comfortable for both viewing and programming. Relay Access Port

The GTS 2541 features Evenheat's Relay Access Port, designed for easy and hassle-free relay replacement without the need to remove the entire panel.

To access the mechanical relays, you only need to remove the access plate, eliminating the need to dismantle the control panel or delve into intricate internal wiring. The process is incredibly straightforward and efficient, requiring just a screwdriver!

Given that mechanical relays inevitably fail over time, this relay access port proves to be extremely useful when the need for replacement arises.

2 Position Lid Vent

The GTS 2541 features a lid vent adjustable to two positions.

When set to the lower vent position, the lid is propped open approximately one inch, ideal for venting adhesives and other binding materials that operate at low temperatures.

In its upper vent position, the lid is elevated roughly four inches, significantly enhancing airflow to expedite the cooling process.
