Most Popular Personal Size Glass Kiln - Studio Pro 17
Front Access
The Studio Pro model is distinguished by its front access design. You can easily lift the chamber to reveal the entire floor area, offering a wall-free and spacious opening.
This design is especially ideal for placing glass; you can effortlessly construct your design right on the shelf and then seal the chamber. Moreover, front access is highly beneficial for techniques that necessitate a horizontal approach, like raking, roll-ups, and various manipulation methods.

Top Access
The Studio Pro 17 stands out with its dual access design, featuring a handy top access option.
This top entry excels in facilitating the efficient placement of shelves and forms, making precise positioning easier. Furthermore, the top access is especially preferred for vertical manipulation techniques such as embossing, adding to its adaptability.
Fire and Firebrick Design
The Studio Pro 17 is built using a combination of fiber and firebrick materials.
The lid is made of fiber, which not only accelerates the firing process to prevent devitrification but also contributes to a lighter lid.
The walls and floor are constructed with firebrick, known for its superior heat-storage capabilities. This helps in stabilizing temperature variations and is particularly effective for annealing. Firebrick inherently balances the temperature fluctuations often seen in kilns made entirely of fiber. Having a mix of firebrick in your glass kiln is beneficial, and the Studio Pro 17 provides just that.
Swing View Equipped
The temperature controls of the Studio Pro 17 are integrated into our innovative Swing View Adjustable Enclosure.
This feature consists of a swivel and swing-up enclosure, enabling you to adjust the control panel to your preferred viewing and programming angle. After adjusting, you can simply lay it back down for clear visibility from anywhere in your studio. It's a straightforward and convenient design.
The Swing View is particularly compatible with touchscreen controls such as the TAP II, Icon+, and Icon, as it allows for optimal alignment of the viewing angle. You're going to appreciate this user-friendly feature.
Relay Access Port
The Studio Pro 17 features Evenheat's convenient Relay Access Port, designed for effortless relay replacement without the need to disassemble the entire panel. Why is that necessary when all Evenheat Glass Kilns now come standard with the Quiet Drive Solid State Relay, technology expected to last the life of the kiln?
That's because solid-state units also incorporate a mechanical relay as an essential safety feature.
This smart design addresses the unique characteristics of solid-state systems, which are never entirely on or off and can produce a slight, nearly imperceptible leakage current to the elements. The mechanical relay resolves this issue by physically interrupting the circuit, ensuring complete isolation and zero leakage. It activates only twice per firing cycle: once at the start to enable current flow and once at the end to shut it off completely. Designed for durability, the safety relay is built to last, and the Relay Access Port ensures effortless maintenance if ever required. This is innovation and reliability at its finest!
Bench-top Operation
The Studio Pro 17 is versatile in its placement options; you can set it directly on your counter or bench-top, or use the included floor stand, depending on your preference.
When placed on a bench-top, the kiln is conveniently positioned at waist level, making front access use extremely comfortable.
However, it's important to ensure that the counter or bench-top is made of non-combustible material and is strong enough to support the kiln's weight.
Elemented Fiber Lid
Evenheat's fiber lid design in the Studio Pro 17 ensures a quicker heating process compared to the traditional 120V firebrick models, achieving approximately 50% faster heat-up. This expedited firing capability significantly reduces or even eliminates the risk of devitrification.
The kiln's lid is crafted from a special fiber material, known for its outstanding thermal properties and lightweight nature. This unique design positions the heating elements right on the surface, enhancing heat transfer and firing efficiency to the maximum.
Furthermore, Evenheat strategically placed these heating elements from left to right on the lid. This careful arrangement prevents the elements from sagging or bunching up due to frequent opening and closing of the lid. This attention to detail is crucial, ensuring consistent performance and satisfaction throughout the kiln's lifespan.

Floor Stand Included
The Studio Pro 17 is supplied with a 16" stand for optional floor placement if desired.
