STP - Your Bench Top Workhorse
Front Access
The standout characteristic of the Studio Pro's design is its accessible front opening. Easily raise the chamber to reveal the spacious and unobstructed floor.
This front access is ideal for arranging glass: you can effortlessly assemble your work on the shelf and then enclose it by lowering the chamber. It's also exceptionally convenient for employing tools and methods that need a horizontal approach, like raking, roll-ups, and various manipulation techniques.
Top Access
The Studio Pro STP uniquely incorporates top access, an integral component of its dual access design.
This top access proves invaluable for loading shelves and forms, facilitating effortless and accurate positioning. It's also the go-to choice for various vertical manipulation techniques, including embossing.
Additionally, the top access feature plays a crucial role in ventilation, thanks to its two-position vent system (details provided below).
Fiber & Firebrick Design
The Studio Pro STP skillfully combines the use of fiber and firebrick in its construction.
Fiber is chosen for its ability to accelerate the firing process and for its lightweight advantage. It is utilized in both the floor and lid of the kiln.
On the other hand, firebrick is selected for its superior heat retention qualities, which are crucial in stabilizing temperature variations and excellent for effective annealing. The firebrick effectively counters the temperature fluctuations commonly experienced in kilns designed solely with fiber.
With the Studio Pro STP, you get the optimal benefits of both materials, offering a harmonious balance of efficiency and stability.
Icon Controller
As of January 2024, the Studio Pro STP is equipped with the Icon Control.
The Icon, a testament to modern control technology, is crafted around the innovative Spark platform by Bartlett Instruments. Throughout the latter part of 2023, the Icon underwent extensive field testing by Bartlett, Evenheat, and other experts, proving its mettle in real-world conditions. The programming of the Icon was praised for its clarity and simplicity, while user interaction with its display was rated as outstanding. Its performance stood out as exceptional, embodying the pinnacle of control technology. Ultimately, the Icon emerged as a triumphant addition to the kiln control market, and we are excited to present it to you.
Continuing Evenheat's tradition of enhancing control systems, the Icon introduces significant upgrades to an already robust platform. It features Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature measurement and non-metallic faceplates that greatly improve Wi-Fi connectivity, essential for online app integration. The Icon is a symbol of unparalleled value and performance, setting a new standard in the industry and offering users an advanced, user-friendly experience in kiln control.
Versatile 2-Position Lid Venting
Lid venting is highly effective for safely firing off adhesives or binders, and it's equally beneficial for accelerating the cooling process.
The Studio Pro STP features a versatile 2 position lid vent, allowing you to adjust the lid to either approximately 1/2" or 1". Simply lift and swivel the lid to your desired height with ease.
Bench Top Operation
The Studio Pro STP is ideally crafted for placement right on your counter or bench-top.
This design allows for bench-top operation, situating the kiln conveniently at waist level, which makes using its front access extremely comfortable.
However, it's important to note that the counters or bench-tops where the kiln is placed must be made of non-combustible materials and should be sturdy enough to bear the weight of the kiln.

120-volt Power Cord Exits at Rear
The Studio Pro STP features a power cable that neatly exits from the rear of the control panel. This thoughtful design ensures the cable is kept distant from the heat of the kiln chamber, while also maintaining a tidy and uncluttered workspace.
Although it may seem like a small detail, it's an aspect Evenheat carefully considered and incorporated for added convenience and safety.
Also, the Studio Pro STP is designed for 120V operation and comes with a standard North American 120V plug, ensuring effortless connection.
Additionally, Evenheat also offers the Studio Pro STP in various global voltage options. If of interest, be sure to request from Pottery Pulse when ordering. See the Specifications tab for these details.
