V8 - Your Vitrigraph Kiln
Vitrigraph Base
The V8 Vitrigraph model features a specially designed floor with a 2.75-inch hole precision-machined into its base, specifically for conducting Vitrigraph projects. Additionally, the V8 serves a dual purpose, functioning as a standard kiln when the base is swapped with an alternative one that lacks the Vitrigraph cut-out. (This is an optional purchase.) This versatility makes the V8 an exceptionally multi-functional tool.
Vitrigraph Pots up to 7.5" in Diameter
The V8 stands out for its optimal utilization of floor space, offering the most effective use of space among kilns of its size. This efficiency in space usage is achieved by strategically placing the thermocouple (the temperature sensor) at the corner of the chamber, rather than on a flat side.
The kiln accommodates Vitrigraph pots with diameters up to 7.5 inches. This larger size allows for more material to be processed in a single session, reducing the need for frequent reloading and waiting.
When it comes to Vitrigraph projects, the V8's design significantly reduces the limitations on project size that are often encountered with other brands, enhancing its versatility and appeal.
Stackable Design
The V8 Vitrigraph features a modular, stackable design, enabling artists to swiftly transition from a vitrigraph setup to a standard kiln configuration within minutes.
This stackable design not only facilitates quick conversion but also simplifies the placement and setup of the kiln, as each component can be positioned independently. For artists who frequently switch between vitrigraph and standard modes, or for those who travel with their equipment, this stackable functionality proves to be extremely convenient and practical.
Swing View Equipped
The V8's temperature controls are integrated into Evenheat's innovative Swing View Adjustable Enclosure.
This feature includes a versatile, swing-up enclosure that enables you to pivot and adjust the control panel to your preferred viewing and programming angle. After setting it up, you can easily lay it back down, allowing for clear visibility from across your studio. The process is straightforward and user-friendly.
The Swing View is particularly compatible with touchscreen controls such as the TAP II, Icon+, and Icon, as it allows for the viewing angle to be precisely aligned. This feature is sure to enhance your studio experience.
Swing View Equipped - DOWNWARD FACING!
Vitrigraph kilns are often positioned above eye level, making the controls harder to see and operate—but not anymore.
Evenheat enhanced its Swing View feature on the V8 Vitrigraph, allowing the controls to swing downward for easier access when the kiln is elevated.
It’s one of our favorite innovations! It’s practical, intuitive, and works seamlessly.
Quiet Drive Solid State Relay
The V8 Vitrigraph comes standard with the advanced Quiet Drive Solid State Relay system.
This innovative system delivers precise temperature control, exceptional reliability, and extended heating element life. Quiet Drive stands out as one of the most well-designed and high-performing solid-state relay systems available today. See the Quiet Drive information tab to learn how a solid state relay benefits you.

V8 Vitrigraph Stand
Welcome to the ultimate Vitrigraph stand—the finest on the planet.
The Evenheat V8 stand-alone stand is designed from the ground up with thoughtful features, including a tool rest, rod/cane holder, and power cord catch. Everything you need is right here.
This stand offers 14-1/2 inches of space between the glass exit point and the stand upright, giving you ample room to pull cane and lay glass-on-glass—the essence of Vitrigraph work. With plenty of space, your creative possibilities are endless.
Additionally, the stand provides 37-1/2 inches between the glass exit point and the stand base, allowing for even more freedom to create.
Simply put, the Evenheat V8 stand-alone stand is the gold standard for Vitrigraph stands—no contest.
V8 Vitrigraph Wall-Mounted Stand
Need more vertical space for your creations? The V8 Vitrigraph Wall-Mounted Stand lets you mount your V8 kiln at the height you need for maximum flexibility and pull length.
Built on the same sturdy platform as our stand-alone model, the wall-mounted stand offers all the same features, including the 14-1/2 inches of space between the glass exit point and the wall, giving you plenty of room to work. It also includes the convenient power cord catch to keep cords out of your way while you focus on your art.
The Swing View control's downward positioning feature is especially useful with the wall-mounted stand, making it easy to access and adjust the controls, even at elevated heights.
As a bonus, the wall-mounted stand folds neatly against the wall when not in use, saving space and keeping your workspace tidy!
Relay Access Port
The V8 is designed with a convenient Relay Access Port, which simplifies the process of replacing relays without the hassle of removing the entire control panel. Why is it necessary to have this type of access with a unit that comes standard with a solid-state design where the relay is expected to last the life of kiln?
Because solid-state units also feature a mechanical relay as a crucial safety component.
This intelligent design addresses the inherent nature of solid-state systems, which are never completely on or off and can generate a slight, almost imperceptible leakage current to the elements. The mechanical relay eliminates this issue by physically breaking the circuit, ensuring full isolation and zero leakage. It operates only twice during a firing cycle: once at the beginning to allow current flow and once at the end to completely cut it off. Engineered for long-lasting reliability, the safety relay rarely requires replacement, and the Relay Access Port makes maintenance simple and hassle-free if needed. This is innovation and dependability in action!
Firebrick Construction
The V8 Vitrigraph is built entirely from firebrick, making repairs straightforward, affordable, and hassle-free.
The same applies to the heating element—it's simple to remove, easy to replace, and cost-effective.
At Evenheat, they design their kilns with easy maintenance and repair in mind, and the V8 Vitrigraph is no exception.
