Generally speaking the Studio Pro shelves are rarely posted up and can be set directly onto the fiber base. We do not recommend placing your glass directly on to the fiber base as failure of your shelf primer or other barrier will damage the base.

Additionally, the V8 serves a dual purpose, functioning as a standard kiln when the base is swapped with an alternative one that lacks the Vitrigraph cut-out. (This is an optional purchase.) This versatility makes the V8 an exceptionally multi-functional tool.

Vitrigraph Pots up to 7.5" in Diameter
