Studio Pro Re-Imagined for 2024
Front Access
The hallmark of the Studio Pro's design lies in its easy front access. By raising the chamber, you gain full exposure to the entire base, which is free of walls and remarkably spacious.
This front access feature is ideal for positioning glass: you can conveniently construct your design directly on the shelf and then encase it by closing the chamber. Additionally, this design proves advantageous for tools and techniques that necessitate a horizontal approach, like raking, roll-ups, and various manipulation methods.
Shown with optional casters and shelf.
Top Access
The Studio Pro 28 is distinguished by its dual access design, prominently featuring an access point at the top.
This overhead entry is excellent for placing shelves and forms, allowing for precise and effortless positioning. It is particularly advantageous for techniques that require a vertical approach, such as embossing.
Moreover, the top access contributes to efficient ventilation, thanks to its two-position vent system (further details provided below).
Optimal Placement of Controller
The TAP or Icon+ controller is strategically positioned at the front, at a height that aligns with your body. Simply step forward and enjoy the straightforward operation.
Absolutely perfect.
In designing the Studio Pro, special attention was given to the controller's location, and we are excited about Evenheat's implementation of this considerate design aspect.
Swing View Equipped
The TAP and Icon+ temperature controllers are elegantly incorporated into the innovative Swing View Adjustable Enclosure.
This distinctive design includes an adjustable, swing-up enclosure that allows you to easily pivot and set the control to your ideal viewing and programming angle. Once adjusted, you can lower it back for clear visibility from any spot in the studio. It's as simple as that.
The Swing View is particularly beneficial for touchscreen controls like the TAP and Icon+, providing the optimal angle for viewing. This feature is one you will undoubtedly find valuable.
Control Center
The Studio Pro 28 smartly separates all its power components from the kiln chamber, placing them instead in a specialized control center located at the back of the kiln base.
This thoughtful design ensures that essential power components are kept away from the chamber's heat, situated in a cooler, less conspicuous area. The addition of this control center represents a notable and positive departure from traditional kiln designs.
2-Position Lid Vent
The Studio Pro 28 is equipped with a flexible 2-position lid venting system.
In its first setting, the vent keeps the lid slightly ajar, about one inch, which is perfect for venting fumes from adhesives and other binding materials used at lower temperatures.
The second vent setting allows the lid to open about four inches, significantly enhancing the kiln's cooling rate.
Fiber Lid Construction
The Studio Pro 28's lid is made from a special fiber material, chosen for its excellent thermal properties and light weight. This design cleverly positions the heating elements on the surface to maximize heat transfer and enhance firing efficiency.
The fiber selected for the lid is notable for its exceptionally low-shot quality. It is further improved with a covering made of no-shot fiber sheet. This dual approach not only makes the lid lighter but also greatly minimizes the likelihood of any debris from the lid falling onto the glass. This feature demonstrates a careful and efficient approach to design.
Maintenance Parts Tag
To facilitate the replacement of components that are prone to wear and tear, Evenheat has incorporated a handy maintenance parts tag on the Studio Pro 28. This tag provides the relevant Evenheat part numbers for frequently needed maintenance items.
Let's face it – how many of us have been wishing that manufacturers had started implementing this kind of feature a long time ago?

Lift Assisted
The Studio Pro 28 comes with a spring lift assist system, making it effortless to open the chamber. This well-engineered mechanism functions both smoothly and securely, guaranteeing that the chamber remains reliably open during use.
In the midst of demanding work sessions, the importance of dependable and effortless operation cannot be overstated, and the spring lift assist feature of the Studio Pro 28 ensures exactly this.
Power Interrupt Switch Equipped
The Studio Pro 28 is equipped with a standard power interrupt switch, which is engineered to disconnect electrical power to the heating elements whenever the lid or chamber is opened.
This function is especially important for users who need to open the kiln during firing, like when performing glass manipulation and roll-up processes.
