Hot Shot ovens and kilns are equipped with Patent Pending Cool-Touch Fan Cooling Technology that provides a safe external temperature to allow for safer operation and protection of its surroundings. Each oven comes with a removable high density kiln floor. This is ideal to assist with project setup or if it needs to be replaced. It features a dual layer air plenum for external heat management and precise temperature control.

TAP&GO Controller

The TAP&GO is a straightforward single-setpoint controller built for easy firing—set your desired temperature, and the controller manages the rest automatically.

Spark Controller

The Genesis Spark is a highly adaptable touchscreen controller designed to manage kiln temperatures with precision, allowing you to fire a wide range of materials, including metals, ceramics, jewelry, and more. It comes equipped with industry-specific presets and offers 30 customizable programs. The controller also features Wi-Fi connectivity for seamless software updates, built-in diagnostics, maintenance tracking, and automatic PID adjustments. With the Bartlett KilnAid app, you can remotely monitor your kiln's status and receive real-time alerts, ensuring optimal performance every time.

TAP II Controller

This model can also be upgraded to the TAP II controller, replacing the original TAP I with a more advanced and user-friendly interface. The TAP II’s large, full-color touchscreen offers intuitive navigation and precise control over every stage of the firing process.

Built-in Wi-Fi connects seamlessly with the SDS online app, allowing you to manage schedules, adjust programs in real time, and access firing logs — all from your mobile device. Enhanced with Special Limits thermocouples and a non-metallic faceplate, the TAP II ensures improved temperature accuracy and stronger Wi-Fi performance.

Argon provides an inert atmosphere and is usually delivered at dew point less than -75°F with an oxygen content below 20 ppm. An atmosphere of Argon can be used for the following heat treatment processes:

• Brazing
• Sintering

Hot Shot offers this well designed and easily adaptable Argon kit for all your heat treating needs. Includes flow meter, tubing, fittings and ceramic dispensing needle. (Argon gas not included)

Not all kilns can use a collar, but Olympic’s Hot Box kilns can be ordered with a collar to expand versatility. A blank collar simply adds height to the firing chamber, while a bead collar adds the same height and includes a built-in bead or annealing door for quick-access lampwork projects.

This safety feature automatically cuts power to the heating elements whenever the kiln lid or door is opened. It prevents accidental burns, protects elements, and resumes power only when safely closed. (Also called an automatic lid shutoff on Olympic kilns.)
