L&L Kilns eFL2635 Front Loading Kiln

The L&L eFL2635 combines large-capacity firing, advanced temperature control, and rugged construction in a design built for demanding studio and educational environments. With a spacious 13.7 cubic foot chamber and Cone 10 capability, it provides the capacity and performance needed for production work, classroom instruction, and community studio programs.

At the heart of the kiln is L&L's Genesis 2.0 touchscreen controller with Dynamic Zone Control technology. Three independently monitored firing zones continuously adjust heat output throughout the firing cycle, helping maintain exceptional temperature uniformity from top to bottom while compensating for varying load sizes and normal element wear. Built-in WiFi connectivity and the KilnAid app allow convenient remote monitoring.

Engineered for long-term reliability, the eFL2635 features 3" K23 firebrick insulation, protected thermocouples, hard ceramic element channels, a corrosion-resistant stainless steel case, and an easy-access piggyback control panel designed for simplified service and maintenance. The front-loading configuration reduces lifting strain and provides comfortable access when loading large or heavy work.

Designed to be economical to install, operate, and maintain, the eFL2635 delivers the firing consistency, durability, and capacity required by serious ceramic artists, schools, and production studios alike.

For a complete studio setup, optional kiln furniture kits and ventilation systems are available. The furniture kit includes eight 12" × 24" kiln shelves, a full assortment of square posts ranging from 1/2" to 8", and a pair of heat-resistant gloves. For improved kiln performance and longevity, choose either the Vent-Sure automatic kiln vent or upgrade to the Vent Control system, which integrates vent operation directly with the kiln controller for automated ventilation management.

Not all kilns can use a collar, but Olympic’s Hot Box kilns can be ordered with a collar to expand versatility. A blank collar simply adds height to the firing chamber, while a bead collar adds the same height and includes a built-in bead or annealing door for quick-access lampwork projects.

This safety feature automatically cuts power to the heating elements whenever the kiln lid or door is opened. It prevents accidental burns, protects elements, and resumes power only when safely closed. (Also called an automatic lid shutoff on Olympic kilns.)
