Its balanced size and upgraded construction make it a dependable choice for consistent everyday firing.

This model includes 3″ thick firebrick insulation, solid-state relays (SSR) for long-lasting, quiet performance, and a vent-ready base with an AOP (Auxiliary Outlet Plug) and pre-drilled port for easy use with an optional VentMaster system. A lock-in lid support holds the lid securely while loading, and recessed element grooves eliminate the need for pins. Two wide tapered peepholes allow convenient monitoring, and built-in side handles make repositioning the kiln easier. The coated lid, peepholes, and firebrick rim reduce dusting and extend firebrick life, while the reversible brick bottom and galvanized steel base add long-term durability.

 Which Kiln Voltage Should I Select?

What's The Difference Between Single-Phase and Three-Phase?

Which Relay Option Do I Need?

What Are Collars For?

Not all kilns can use a collar, but Olympic’s Hot Box kilns can be ordered with a collar to expand versatility. A blank collar simply adds height to the firing chamber, while a bead collar adds the same height and includes a built-in bead or annealing door for quick-access lampwork projects.

What Does The Power Interrupt Switch Do?

This safety feature automatically cuts power to the heating elements whenever the kiln lid or door is opened. It prevents accidental burns, protects elements, and resumes power only when safely closed. (Also called an automatic lid shutoff on Olympic kilns.)
