The Paragon J14 Enameling Kiln delivers expanded capacity, fast heat-up times, and precise digital control in a lightweight kiln designed for enameling, jewelry mold work, and specialty low-fire applications. Reaching temperatures up to 1700°F and operating on a standard 120V outlet, it provides reliable, repeatable performance for jewelers, casters, and artists who need more space without sacrificing efficiency or control.
Built with a durable one-piece ceramic fiber shell, the J14 heats and cools quickly while maintaining excellent insulation and energy efficiency. Embedded heating elements ensure even temperature distribution across the chamber while protecting the elements from wear. Additional insulation between the chamber and outer steel case minimizes heat loss, supporting consistent results across repeated firing cycles.
The J14’s front-opening design offers easy access and safe operation, with a tightly sealed door secured by a spring-loaded latch for smooth, one-handed use. A built-in top vent with a steel plug allows for clean burnout during lost wax or cork clay applications, while a secondary door vent enhances airflow when needed. Controls are housed in the base rather than a side-mounted box, keeping the unit compact and preserving valuable workspace.
With its larger chamber compared to smaller J-series models, the J14 is especially well-suited for jewelry mold production, accommodating rubber or silicone molds that require stable temperatures and precise hold times. It also performs exceptionally well for enameling, PMC firing, and other specialty ceramic applications where accuracy and repeatability are critical.
Controller
The J14 is equipped with the Sentinel Touch Xpress Controller, featuring a responsive touchscreen interface for simple, precise programming. Easily set firing rates, target temperatures, and hold times, or create multi-segment ramp-hold programs for more complex cycles. Real-time temperature monitoring ensures consistent, repeatable results.
Optional Add-Ons
Wax Tray: Available as an add-on, this accessory supports clean and efficient lost wax burnout by safely collecting melting wax during firing.
